Downer Group employs approximately 26,000 people across more than 700 sites, primarily in Australia and New Zealand., with a presence in the Asia-Pacific region, South America, and Southern Africa. The organisation required consistent on-brand communications across its diverse business units, including Road & Rail, Mining, Defence, and Corporate Affairs, to adapt to evolving customer engagement requirements.
I provided external design support to Downer’s internal marketing and engineering teams. The goal was to produce consistent, on-brand communications while evolving aspects of the brand to meet dynamic customer engagement needs. This included supporting large project tender submissions with effective graphic design and enhancing marketing collateral.
I collaborated closely with Downer’s internal marketing teams and graphic designers to deliver high-quality design solutions. My role encompassed:
- Developing on-brand communication materials tailored to various business units.
- Providing graphic support for large project tender submissions, ensuring alignment with Downer’s visual identity.
- Producing marketing collateral, including brochures, trade show materials, and advertising content.
- Continuously refining design approaches to adapt to changing customer engagement strategies.
My contributions ensured consistent, professional branding across Downer’s communications. The evolved design strategies effectively supported Downer’s internal teams, enhancing the visual impact of tender submissions and marketing materials. This cohesive approach strengthened brand recognition and supported Downer’s efforts in securing major projects and maintaining a strong industry presence.
